If you’ve been following Nevin over the past few months, you’ve noticed that solid state drive (SSD) prices have dropped a lot, and when we say a lot, we really mean it. Apart from the latest PCIe Gen5, which are also very rare these days, most previous generation NVMe SSDs have come down in price as well as external portable drives. The Silicon Power A60 (pictured above) isn’t the fastest drive, but it’s based on NVMe 1.3 and is faster than SATA SSDs by some distance.
