Microsoft continues to make deals in an effort to convince government regulators to finally approve its $69 billion deal to buy Activision Blizzard. Today, another deal was signed with UK wireless provider EE.’
In a ___ Post to your Twitter account.Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s Xbox, said the company has agreed to offer its Xbox games, and Activision Blizzard PC games, to EE’s cloud gaming service when the acquisition is completed. “We’re committed to bringing more games to as many people as possible, however they choose to play,” Spencer wrote.

Microsoft has made similar deals with NVIDIA GeForce Now, Boosteroid, and Ubitus in the past. The new deal with EE is interesting because the UK regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), has said it still has concerns about Microsoft potentially dominating the cloud gaming market. This will likely grease the wheels for the group to approve the deal. The CMA is expected to deliver its final report on the Microsoft/Activation Blizzard deal by April 26.
