
Ubisoft is gearing up for a tough year with the company. Announcement today That it is changing strategy internally as its recent releases have failed to meet expectations. This includes the cancellation of three unannounced development projects, which are among the four canceled gaming projects six months ago.
While like its old live service games Rainbow Six Siege And Assassin’s Creed While RPG entries have shown healthy growth and profitability, new releases have not fared so well. Especially, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope And Just Dance 2023 Underperformed by a surprising amount.
“Adding to this effect, in the context of deteriorating economic conditions, holiday season trends, particularly in the final weeks of December and early January, have been markedly and surprisingly slower than expected.”

The bad news continues. Skull and bones, which is probably Ubisoft’s most delayed game at the moment, has been pushed back yet again. Ubisoft’s future plans include launching Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Pandora, Skull and Bones Borderlandsas well as just-announced free-to-play and premium games.
