According to a tweet by a Microsoft Store data miner, WWE 2K23 is slated for a March 2023 release. The tweet was later deleted.

The tweet also revealed the cover art for the cross-gen edition of WWE 2K23 for Xbox. The cover art features John Cena, a 16-time world champion.

2K is expected to release a reveal trailer for the game on January 28th at the Royal Rumble event in Texas along with additional details about WWE 2K23. Fans will also be able to participate in a hands-on gameplay session of WWE 2K23 at the Royal Rumble event.

However, WWE 2K22’s official Twitter account posted a photo with a caption indicating that WWE 2K23 isn’t far off the mark.

WWE 2K22 was also released in March 2022. If leaks are to be believed, WWE 2K23 will also be released in March 2023.

In a now-deleted tweet from Aluma_ItaliaA Microsoft Store dataminer revealed the exact March 17 release date for WWE 2K23 Cross-Gen Edition for Xbox.

The game is likely to be released on different platforms on the same day. The tweet was later deleted, but fans Reddit Were quick enough to note down the exact date.

WWE 2K23 is expected to come to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC just like WWE 2K22.

The leaked cover art is only for the cross-gen edition of the game. However, other editions will likely feature the same cover art. WWE 2K22’s cover art featured Rey Mysterio.

This time, the cover art features John Cena, often considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Earlier, John Cena was also seen on the cover art of WWE 2K15.
