The latest Skype Insider build adds the Today tab to desktop users and more.

Microsoft has released a new build for members of the Skype Insider program. The new build number is 8.97.76.300 and contains several new features, including the addition of the Today tab for desktop users, as well as many bug fixes.

Bug fixes:

  • Skype Chat translation into translated conversations (1:1) was only working one-way on Windows.
  • When tapping a notification, it doesn’t take you directly to the message it was reacted to on iPhone.
  • The share button shared the link twice on iOS.
  • Not receiving missed call notifications on iOS.
  • UI breaks when bookmarking your own message on a Mac over the web.
  • Cannot join chat group when clicking non-Bing url link on web on Windows.
