Samsung’s upcoming foldable series is set to go public with an earlier-than-usual reveal date in the coming months. Leaks about the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are already trickling in and suggest notable changes, including a much improved and hollow hinge design. The foldable smartphones are now breaking cover with new 3D renders that give us the first real look at these foldable smartphones.

Computer-designed renders of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 have been shared by a well-known leaker. On Leaks And the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 show design changes on the smartphones. Here’s everything we know now courtesy of the leaker.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5

Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold5, the design can be labeled similar to the Galaxy Z Fold4. The upcoming foldable does not deviate from its predecessor in terms of external and internal display size.

One major change comes in the thickness of the phone which is in line with the leaker. Ice universe, reduced to just 13.4mm when folded, down from the 15.8mm occupied by the Galaxy Z Fold 4. This reduction in thickness comes as Samsung is rumored to adopt a “teardrop-shaped” hinge in which the flexible display portion moves inside the body when folded.

The new hinge is also attributed to less gap between the two faces near the hinge and may allow the foldable to be more resilient against dust and water damage. Even when unfolded, the Galaxy Fold5 is claimed to be marginally thinner at 6.1mm instead of its predecessor’s 6.3mm.

Apart from the improved grip, the Galaxy Z Fold5 gets a minor change to the rear camera, now the flash is placed outside the raised lip. Contrary to previous rumours, the three cameras do not get individual rings around each module.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 remains unchanged in terms of internal and external display sizes. The cover screen still measures 6.2 inches, while the internal flexible display is still smaller at 7.6 inches. An old rumor from Laker Ice universe Suggests the possibility of thinner bezels with both displays.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5

The Galaxy Z Flip5 is expected to follow suit and feature a less intrusive “teardrop” hinge. However, a more eye-catching improvement comes in the form of a new and much larger external display.

Shared by Renders. On Leaks Give us a glimpse of the new “folder-shaped” external display, which is now claimed to measure 3.4 inches, more than twice the size of the Galaxy Z Flip4’s 1.9-inch cover screen. The large external display is apparently an attempt to join forces with the likes of OPPO and Motorola, who already have phones with large external displays or are rumored to launch them soon. In addition to the visually larger display, we also expect functional improvements, including the ability to view the contents of incoming notifications and type without opening the clamshell.

The internal screen is tipped to measure 6.7 inches, but when folded, the redesigned hinge could once again contribute to a thinner profile on the Galaxy Z Flip5. Unlike the Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s all-new dimensions are yet to be revealed, but the latter also shrinks to 0.2mm in thickness.

Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip5 may get a slightly larger battery than the Z Flip4, which received a significant upgrade over the Z Flip3.

Commonalities Between Samsung’s Fifth Generation Foldables

The rest of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 specifications are yet to be revealed, but we can expect both foldable phones to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip customized for Samsung. In addition to the “for Galaxy” souped-up chip, the phones could be offered with faster LPDDR5X RAM and faster UFS 4.0 storage.

Other specifications, such as charging speed and camera details and functions, are still under wraps, but we can expect them to be unveiled in the coming weeks leading up to the rumored launch event, which is slated for late July. I have been appointed. Sam Mobile) instead of August as usual.
