Rufus Alternative Ventoy adds bypass for Windows 11 TPM requirements, MSA, Internet.

Earlier this year in May, Microsoft made Internet connectivity and a Microsoft Account (MSA) mandatory to install Windows 11 22H2 Insider builds. Thankfully, the OOBE\BYPASSNRO solution we discovered earlier still works, and later, one of our forum members posted a simple bypass to install Windows 11 22H2 using a local account. Now after Rufus, which already added a bypass for these requirements in an older version, Ventoy, another popular third-party alternative used to create bootable Windows media, has also added a system requirements and has brought Microsoft Account (MSA)/Internet Connectivity Bypass with its latest. Update, version 1.0.86.

The release notes describing these new changes state:

  • Add the VTOY_WIN11_BYPASS_NRO option to the Global Control plugin to bypass the online account requirement when installing Windows 11.
  • Enable VTOY_WIN11_BYPASS_CHECK and VTOY_WIN11_BYPASS_NRO by default.

In case you’re wondering, the “BYPASS_NRO” option is meant to bypass network requirements during OOBE, where “BYPASS_CHECK” is to bypass system requirements including TPM version, processor and so on.
