Rocksteady confirmed a major delay for Suicide Squad, pushing it back to 2024

Batman Arkham Trilogy developer Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that its next big project has been massively delayed. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The cooperative action game is now slated for release on February 2, 2024, with a May 26, 2023 launch date announced by the studio just a few months ago after multiple delays.

“We’ve made the tough but necessary decision to take the necessary time to work on making the game the best quality experience for players,” Rocksteady announced. on Twitter today. “There is much more to share in the coming months and we look forward to seeing you at Metropolis next year.”

The studio didn’t elaborate on what kind of changes the Warner Bros.-published game will have over the months it has received additional development. A Bloomberg report revealed this in March. Suicide Squad The latest gameplay trailer was already delayed internally after an unpleasant reception.
