The PlayStation 5 was released in November 2020 amid supply chain difficulties with a global pandemic. Finding a new in-the-box PlayStation 5 at retail (rather than one sold at exorbitant rates on the gray market) has been a way of life for many over the past couple of years.
The global PlayStation 5 shortage has officially ended two years after the console’s launch. The PS5 has now surpassed 30 million units sold to consumers after enjoying its most successful month since its launch in December 2022, according to boss Jim Ryan. The milestone was announced during Sony’s CES 2023 press conference.

According to recent rumors, Sony will soon introduce a new PS5 package. The deal, which was first spotted by the German website, includes a PlayStation 5 system and two DualSense controllers. One Future.

As of this writing, only the disc edition appears to be available at stores that have the package available for pre-order. The retailers in question are JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, and The Gamesmen.
All of the aforementioned retailers have different release dates for this bundle, but now that the news is out, we can expect it to arrive by the end of this month.
Having two controllers out of the package is a huge benefit for many gamers. You can jump straight into multiplayer games and play with your friends and siblings. This bundle is a good option if you want to save a quick 10-20 bucks, or you can rotate both controllers and not have to worry about battery.
