Were you missing enough colors for DualSense? You may have one more thing coming up. official Playstation repair website The PlayStation 5 shows two new color variants for the next-gen handheld controller when you try to request a repair for it.
The two new colors are Metallic Gray and Metallic Red. None of these options have been revealed before, nor has Sony ever announced that these colors are coming. The new color listings may have seemingly spilled the beans on the reveal of an amazing new dual-sense, but there’s room for error.
If you go to the Repairs handle of the PlayStation website, you will first have the option to select the PlayStation product that is causing you trouble. Select DualSense from there, and you’ll be taken to another page of the screen.
A support oriented page will then ask about your problem. You will now need to select an option other than “I have another problem” to get to the part where you are directed to request a repair.
As the troubleshooting steps will be directed, just keep repeating that the problem still exists. Thus, the website will automatically prompt you to repair the controller. Click the “Request Repair” button to proceed.
As the next page loads, enter your DualSense serial number, which is located on the back of the controller, and you’ll be asked what color accessory you purchased. It will only be then that the “leak” that has apparently surfaced will give us a glimpse of two additional DualSense colors that have yet to be released.

As for the prices of the metallic colors, fans don’t expect Sony to offer these special controllers at a higher price than usual, considering how special God of War Ragnarok DualSense Controller Came to $74.99 a pop. This price is on par with other color dual-sense controllers, e.g Nova Punk.
In relatively recent times, PlayStation released the ultimate DualSense controller called the DualSense Edge, and it’s a doozy of a gamepad. Although it comes for a pretty hefty price, what it brings to the table is more than what any other controller has managed to do before.
Features like interchangeable stick caps, interchangeable stick modules, customizable button mapping, and the more immersive feel of the DualSense’s haptics and adaptive triggers more or less make up for its $200 asking price. Oh, and there’s also a braided USB cable to help you get through a wired connection on the fly.
