Microsoft shares a helpful guide on how to get the latest Windows 11 updates quickly and easily.

Windows Update for Windows 11

With the latest Windows 11 22H2 update (KB5025305), Microsoft has introduced a new option where users can get and experience new updates early. At first seen as a hidden feature, the update was rolled out to insiders on the Windows 11 Dev channel last month. The company does a staggering rollout of new features but with this option, such updates will be rolled out to eager users sooner rather than later.

The firm has also published a support document aimed at guiding users to enable the option, which is located within the Settings app. This Explains:

We’re committed to continuous innovation by releasing new features and enhancements to Windows 11 frequently. Windows devices receive new functionality at various times as Microsoft delivers non-security updates, fixes, improvements, and enhancements through several servicing technologies—including Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR). With this approach, updates can be rolled out to devices gradually.

The good news is that if you have Windows 11, version 22H2 or later, you can choose to receive the latest non-security and feature updates as they become available for your device (now and in the future). can.

The option is simply known as “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re ready for your computer,” which is pretty intuitive.
