Many of Teams’ key features are currently in the works and are said to be available to everyone in the next few months. But Microsoft has no intention of waiting until next month to deliver new features and changes to Teams to Teams users. The software giant has announced major improvements to the meeting toolbar in Microsoft Teams.
This new meeting toolbar aims to make navigation in teams easier than ever. “The updated meeting toolbar in Microsoft Teams makes it easier than ever to navigate meetings, and discover new features and capabilities,” says Microsoft.
Improvements to the usability of the meeting toolbar include a dedicated raise hand button, which means you can now raise your hand directly from the toolbar. You can also seamlessly switch between different view options with the new View button in the toolbar. In addition, you can easily navigate to more menus by sub-menu groupings. Finally, the improved toolbar now has a new React button.
However, not every user on Teams is eligible to experience the new toolbar. For now, the toolbar usability improvements are available to everyone in the Teams Public Preview channel running on Windows or macOS. Microsoft will roll out these changes to the general public when they’re ready.
in this Official blog post, Microsoft hasn’t posted any known issues or limitations with the new toolbar, but that doesn’t mean you won’t experience it. Because the new toolbar is in public preview, changes to it may not work as they should on every occasion. If you encounter any problems or have some ideas to make the toolbar even better, you can send your feedback to Microsoft. Help > Give feedback. In the Thames app.
