Messengers visit to the historical wonders of Al-Ula

Jeddah, Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently organized a high-speed visit to Al-Ula for the ambassadors of the countries accredited to the Kingdom and their families. The trip provided an enlightening escape into the rich historical and archaeological wonders of Al-Ula. Led by Abdulmajeed Al-Samari, the ministry’s undersecretary for protocol, the envoys explored AlUla’s famous landmarks – the heart of their visit being Hegra, which is revered as the kingdom’s inaugural UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site.
