The Weapon Trio system balances the relative dominance of each weapon class. It is possible for one type of weapon to dominate over another thanks to the Weapon Triangle System. The primary character of the game is Alear, a Divine Dragon who belongs to Lythos and is the offspring of Lumera, the Divine Dragon Monarch. One thousand years ago, They assisted in defeating and sealing up the Divine Dragon before going to sleep for a long period. They are at last awakened after all those years to help in killing the Fell Dragon, which is believed to be about to make a comeback.
