Dead Island 2 Fuse Location and Definitive Guide
If you’ve been playing Dead Island 2, you’ve probably heard of in-game fuses. These fuses unlock secret stashes around the map that are very helpful for your escape from Hell-A. They act like keys, and once inserted they unlock trunks full of weapons and armory. You can either spend your time scrambling around the map for fuses or use our guide and find yourself directly in touch with Dead Island 2 fuses.
Unfortunately, getting a fuse is not an easy task. You won’t find them lying on the floor, and there’s only one sure way to get to the fuse. Follow the guide below, and help yourself save time.
Dead Island 2 Fuse Location
Since these fuses are the only thing preventing you from accessing the weapons they hide, let’s just cut to the chase. You can visit any merchant in the game to get your hands on a fuse, and look for a $ icon on the map to keep track of merchants! You’ll find them mostly around safe houses.
Although there are several merchants around the map to obtain fuses from, there is a preferred merchant named Carlos. Players prefer this merchant, so check it out if you’re nearby.
Carlos the Trader
Once you defend Emma’s mansion from invading zombies, you’ll meet Sam, who will later introduce you to the games weapon crafting system. After that, you’ll be able to talk to Carlos and buy any weapon from him for cash, including the Dead Island 2 fuse.
How much are dead island 2 fuses?
Make sure the fuses are not cheap. A fuse will run you $1500 no matter where you get them. The price tag is justified though, as the rewards will be substantial when you put the fuse to use, and splashing $1500 on a fuse some time might not seem so bad.
You cannot craft fuses, so purchasing them is the only option. If you have the financial resources, stocking up on fuses will help. A fuse is scattered along the door waiting for the LA to open, so having an active fuse will help.
How to use a fuse
Fuse doors are marked around the map, so make your way to these rooms and slot in your Dead Island 2 fuse. This will open a nearby door loaded with weapons. However, you’ll need to be careful as these rooms are often bobby-trapped and contain tough enemies and hazards.
The good thing is that each room will include a Zomproof Slayer Hoard. Large blue boxes containing weapons that you can completely customize to your liking. You’ll also find a room full of crafting materials, so be sure to grab that as well as it might come in handy later.
That’s all there is to know about Dead Island 2 Fuse for now, and we hope you’ve been able to find merchants and get your hands on Fuse with ease. You can also check out our How Long to Beat Dead Island 2 guide. If you want more guides like this, let us know in the comments below.
