A Mysterious Domain Fuels Rumors of a Persona 3 Remake

The rumor mill continues as a domain name has been discovered that could point to an alleged remake of Persona 3. It seems that the domain name P3RE.jp Which is pretty much self-explanatory. It’s worth noting that the domain provider appears to be the same as the one for Persona 5 Royal’s site. A clip of Yukari reappearing from Persona 3 has also been a cause of great discussion within the community.

Atlus announced the arrival of Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal, and Persona 3 Portable on modern platforms. 25th Anniversary of the series. Fans have since speculated about Persona 3’s remake for its influence in popularizing the franchise in the West, as well as its dated gameplay mechanics.
The clip that is currently doing the rounds was initially deleted after it was posted and has since resurfaced. People have said that the animation is too detailed to be fan-made, however, the act of firing the bow itself appears to be choppy. It was later revealed that the clip was part of a larger piece of footage used in one of SEGA’s internal meetings as shown in the upper right corner of the video.
Additionally, in the 2022 survey results, Atlus revealed. Persona 3 and Persona 2 were the top two fan-requested remakes.. While it’s purely speculative at this point, it seems odd that Atlus has invested more resources into Persona 3 Portable than porting it to modern platforms. Fans are constantly wondering why Atlus chose to go with the portable instead of porting the FES version of the game.

It has always been a debate within the community as to which version is better. However, the fans have. Speculations That Atlus had some plans for a possible remake of Persona 3 caused them to hold off on the port of the portable.
At this point, we would advise fans to take this information with a grain of salt. If there is a remake in development, Atlus is bound to announce it sooner or later. However, this is far from the only leak related to the Mega Tensei games.
Earlier this month, an image surfaced online showing what appeared to be Shin Megami Tensei III, Shin Megami Tensei IV/IV: Final, and Shin Megami Tensei V. Allegedly Xbox Game Pass is heading to PC. The picture showed 30th anniversary The logo of the Shin Megami Tensei series to be celebrated. May 2023.
