Intel has released Windows Graphics Driver Update (WHQL) version 31.0.101.4255 for its Arc and Xe graphics series. This improves performance for larger games that may be on your radar. These include Marvel’s. Guardians of the Galaxy And Counter Strike Global Offensive On Intel Arc Graphics for Laptop.

Intel® Arc™ Graphics Products:
- Conqueror’s Blade* (DX11) may exhibit corruption in benchmark mode.
- Portal with RTX* (Vulkan) may suffer application crashes when loading gameplay.
Intel® Core™ Processor Products:
- Overwatch 2*(DX12) may experience lag or freezes when launching the game.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2*(DX12) may experience application crashes during gameplay

Intel® Arc™ Graphics Products:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020* (DX11) may experience application crashes during gameplay.
- Diablo 4 (Beta)* may display character corruption during gameplay if the ‘Highlight Character when Obscured’ setting is enabled.
- Sea of Thieves* (DX11) may exhibit color corruption at the water’s edge.
- The system may hang when waking from sleep. Recovery may require power cycling the system.
- GPU hardware acceleration may not be available for media playback and encoding with some versions of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Blender can demonstrate corruption using the Nishita Sky Texture node.
- Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve* can reveal color corruption with optical flow.
Intel® Iris™ Xe MAX Graphics Products:
- Driver installation may not complete successfully on certain notebook systems with both Intel® Iris™ X e + Iris™ X e MAX devices. A successful installation may require a system reboot and reinstallation of the graphics driver.
Intel® Core™ Processor Products:
- Total War: Warhammer III* (DX11) may experience an application crash when loading battle scenarios. • Call of Duty Warzone 2.0* (DX12) may display corruption on some light sources such as fire.
- Conqueror’s Blade* (DX12) may experience application crashes during game launch.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem* (DX12) may experience application instability during gameplay.
- Battlefield: 2042*(DX12) may display color corruption in game menus.
INTEL® ARC™ CONTROL FIXED ISSUES:
Using ArcControl Studio Capture with the AVC codec selected may cause incorrect use of the HEVC codec.
Editing the performance sliders may fail to apply back to their default values. One solution is to “Reset. On Defaults” button.
INTEL® ARC™ Control Known Issues:
- A Windows UAC administrator is required to install and launch ArcControl.
- The Live Performance Monitoring page may not apply the required removal of some performance metric tiles.
- On systems with multiple Intel® Graphics Adapters the Resizable bar status may display an incorrect value.
- Using ArcControl Studio Capture with some games may incorrectly generate multiple video files.
