Just kidding—we’re not there yet, but there are still an array of Easter eggs to sneak into this masterpiece of a third-person shooter. Capcom has apparently stuck to the original innovation with this one and crafted a true masterpiece in its wake, making the remake full of nuance.

As far as interesting stuff goes, then, Resident Evil 4 is full of it, both in terms of gameplay physics as well as overall atmosphere and the inclusion of Easter eggs throughout the campaign. While this is something that applies to both the original iteration and the Resident Evil 4 remake, the homage is still worth mentioning. It’s an understatement to praise Capcom’s work on the remake, seeing how they’ve made sure even the smallest details come to life in the title. The first significant fight sequence ends with the church bells ringing to stop the villagers from attacking Leon and leading them back to their Lord Sadler.

However, in the remake it is possible to make out the church bell, which this time is much further away. If you’re on New Game Plus, you probably have a sniper rifle to help you out with this. If not, trying to get a church bell from this period with Lyon’s default pistol would be quite difficult, if not completely impossible.

In other news, did you know you can skip 80% of Ashley’s playable section in the remake? That said, this trick doesn’t work without a catch and can be costly. Will also skip Ashley’s part.
